Outdoor Sketching Workshop

(1 days workshop)

Highlight

Outdoor sketching not only allows students to discover and contemplate the beauty of Hong Kong's architecture and nature, but also cultivates their appreciation for aesthetics, improves their observation skills and sensitivity. Prior to outdoor sketching, students will learn theory and techniques in the studio and simulate the outdoor sketching environment, to adapt to the environment and build confidence for future outdoor sketching.

During the outdoor sketching process, students can put into practice the knowledge they learned in the studio, discover their shortcomings, reflect on and improve their drawing skills. In addition, there will be tutors guiding and providing valuable opinions to help students deepen their drawing skills. This experience allows students to deeply reflect on the shortcomings of the scene and focus more on learning and training when returning to the studio, further enhancing their drawing skills. Therefore, outdoor sketching is not only a wonderful experience, but also a learning opportunity that helps students reflect on the shortcomings of the scene.
